Airlines & Cheap Flights to Turkey
Hah! I laugh when I think of it that the airline industry is very similar to Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar: How much does it fly to Turkey cost? As much as the airlines, you get paid!
Frankly, there may be several dozen different fares for the same flight. Unfortunately there is no one agency or site are the best deal. You’ve got around toshop.
In general, flights to Turkey are lowest in December and January and highest in June and July, May, August and September is slightly lower, April and October, even lower. Here are the general guidelines of Kayak rate in U.S. dollars for the outward and return flights, Boston MA (USA) following Istanbul, taxes and charges:

AIRFARE.com
A leading vendor of “consolidator” (ie, discounted) flights to the major airlines (14 million unpublished fares “), they also sell regular published fares. Good, easy to use website. For many years I have found they have the lowest prices, and I always seem to buy my US-Turkey tickets from them.
From Europe
In addition to Turkish Airlines by AtlasJet, Onur Air, Sun Express and several smallerlow-cost European airline cheap flights to Turkey.
Most of Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) fly on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus, not to main content Atatürk Istanbul International Airport, 23 km west of the city center on the European side of Bosphorus.
Sabiha Gokcen Airport is much further from the historic center of Istanbul, and not as convenient for ground transport as Ataturk airport, but the flight prices are certainly lower.
Corendon
Based in the Netherlands, Corendon flies from Eindhoven and Brussels to Istanbul (SAW).
easyJet
easyJet now flies from the UK to Turkey.
German Wings
This German airline flies from Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne-Bonn and Stuttgart to Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir.
Air Pegasus
The Turkish national airline, flies from Istanbul (SAW) to Ankara, Turkey from there tothe Far East cities of Trabzon and Van. Here is their website.
