Day Cruise on a Turkish Gulet (Yacht)

Day cruise on a Turkish gulet (yacht)

Each port town along Turkey Aegean and Mediterranean coast has a marina filled with Turkish gulet yachts, some of which take visitors on cruises along the coast or to nearby islands.

The one-day cruise trip can make a visit to some ancient ruins or coastal village, a bath in a quiet bay for lunch.

They usually light around the anchor and 09.00 clock return to port at about 17:00 or 18:00 clock (5 or 6 clock). The cost is very reasonable.

It is important to a boat, the friendly people that enjoy the same kind of cruise you do find you have and speak your language.

Go to the harbor on the evening before you want to look cross, past the boats and talk to the captain (who will probably be on the boat just for this purpose). Make sure the type of the passengers asked if he accepted the rule:

-Young single people want to party?

Families?

Pensioners interested in archeology?

Also ask what language can speak most of the other passengers. If all the other speaks several languages, you do not know, it might be boring for you.

If lunch is included, you should ask about it in detail (some boats are happy to provide menus).not a day trip for TL50 with a very simple spaghetti or sandwich lunch can be as good a bargain as TL60 Cruises offers a great multi-course Turkish feast.

You can easily day trip boats in all these ports:

AlanyaAntalya

Bodrum

Dalyan
(river cruises)
Fethiye

Göcek

KalkanKas

Kemer

Marmaris

For a longer cruise, with nights spent on the yacht, consider a full charter or cabin charter.
