Turkish Train Monthly Rail Passes

Interrail-tickets and tickets by Rail Europe Euro Domino is sold in Turkey, but the train TCDD Tour Card (see below) is probably a lot cheaper.

The Balkan Flexi Pass available Rail Europe (good for Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia and Yugoslavia [Serbia & Montenegro]) is also valid in Turkey.

TRAIN Tour Card
Turkish State Railways (TCDD) offers Train Tour Cards (Tren Tur Kartlari) good for 30 days of unlimited travel on the entire Turkish railway network.

Express Train Tour Card (Tren Tur Karti Ekspres) costs TL70 (about UK £ 30/US $ 52 / € 43)

Sleeping-Car Train Tour Card (Tren Tur Karti Yatakli costs) TL300 (about UK £ 128/US $ 223 / € 185) and is valid for the transport of any train, and the use of any type of sleeping: sleeping (yatakli vagon ), sleeper (kusetli) orcouchette kuset with sheets, blankets and pillows (örtülü).

Note that you should no sleeping accommodation reservation in advance.

If you have more than 5 one-way (single) or three trips round trip (take) return train travel, you will save money with a Train Tour Card. (See Train travel expenses.)

But the trains are not anywhere in Turkey, with the exception of the Istanbul-Ankara route, they are often slower than the bus, and outside the Istanbul-Ankara route, can be used theequipment well, and in some cases, dilapidated-thoughserviceable.
